ATHERLEY INDOOR SEASON

Wins for the men in the first round of the Denny and the first two Bramley League games have got the season off to a good start. A defeat against a powerful Bournemouth line up in the Egham Trophy (mixed fours) was a slight disappointment, if not a big surprise.

The ladies begin their Yetton and Vivienne campaigns soon and we wish them well.

As well as high quality bowls facilities, our club also offers a wide range of social events including an excellent bar and restaurant.

So if this interests you, why not come along to have a chat. From time to time, we run organised taster sessions, which will be advertised here. Informal 'try before you buy' can usually be arranged with one of our coaches at other times.

The Atherley Bowling Club is situated a mile from the centre of Southampton adjoining Southampton Common. Find us on a map.

The club offers indoor (6 rink) and outdoor (12 rink) bowling as well as other sporting facilities.

New members are always welcome.

The Atherley was founded on 15th April 1906 at a meeting of Directors of Southampton Football Club. The Atherley is proud of its heritage and continues to offer some of the finest facilities in the South of England.
