Outdoor Rinks

The club has two Outdoor Greens, both grass. The greens are maintained by the club's own staff and are regarded by many as the finest in Hampshire. They are open for use from mid / late April to mid / late September every year.

The greens are part of the gardens at the club and in previous years we have won many awards for the gardens including twice winning the 'Best Commercial Premises' prize in the annual Southampton in Bloom competition.

Tournaments

Our greens are used by many organisations throughout the summer months and we are also proud to be the base for the Southampton Open tournament in August each year.

We also host the Final stages of the Hampshire County competitions as well as hosting the Gwyn Guy tournament between Hampshire's four District Associations. This competition was named after a well known and respected Atherley member who died a few years ago.

There are formal men's triples league games played on Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons as well as a mixed league on a Thursday morning.

The club has teams in both the Men's and Ladies Southampton & District leagues.
